Shipping
GLS
ConFlowIO books through your own GLS account; labels come as PDF or for label printers (ZPL). Outside the EU, shipments are booked with the matching terms of delivery.
You enter the customs data itself in the GLS customs portal. The end-of-day closing has a building block of its own.
Prerequisite: a business customer contract with GLS and their approval for API access.

Building blocks
Five building blocks for GLS
- Create shipmentsWrite
Books shipments through your own GLS account, several packages with one parcel and label each, outside the EU with the matching terms of delivery. Labels as PDF or for label printers (ZPL).
- TrackingRead
Reads the state of a shipment at GLS, with the delivery forecast and the time of delivery where GLS provides them, and, where available, who accepted the parcel.
- CancelWrite
Cancels a booked shipment.
- End-of-day closingWrite
Runs the end-of-day closing at GLS.
- Free request
For anything without a ready-made building block: a request to the API, using the stored credentials.
In practice
One workflow with GLS
Shipping label for an order
One mapping for every carrier, instead of one per carrier.
- Readorders from shop, marketplace or ERP
- Maporder onto a shipment with its packages in the Shipping Bundle
- Createone parcel with label per package at GLS
- Storethe labels as files
One mapping for every carrier; changing carrier leaves it untouched.
