Marketplace

Amazon

Amazon is connected directly, with no platform in between. New listings are built from the Commerce Bundle with the attributes of the Amazon product type; price and stock of existing offers are maintained, optionally validated only at first.

Orders come out in the Commerce Bundle's order model and reach the ERP with the same mapping.

Demo on your own data

A new listing never overwrites an existing one.

Building blocks

Nine building blocks for Amazon

  • Prices and stockWrite

Maintains price and stock of existing offers from the Commerce Bundle. Optionally it validates only.

  • Create listingsWrite

Creates new listings with title, brand, images, price, stock and the attributes of the Amazon product type. Existing offers are not overwritten.

  • Listing statusRead

Reads the status of your listings back.

  • Read listingsRead

Reads your own listings back with price, stock, status and Amazon's notices — optionally only those changed since the last run.

  • Delete listingsWrite

Takes articles you no longer sell off the marketplace.

  • Read product typesRead

Looks up which attributes an Amazon product type knows and which of them are required.

  • Read ordersRead

Reads orders with items and processing state. Buyer data and delivery address only on request and with Amazon's own approval.

  • Confirm shipmentWrite

Confirms the shipment of an order with its tracking number.

  • Free request

For anything without a ready-made building block: a request to the API, using the stored credentials.

In practice

Two workflows with Amazon

  1. Stock to the marketplace

An oversell on a marketplace costs more than one in your own shop.

    1. Triggerhourly
    2. Readstock from Xentral
    3. Change detectionpass on only what changed
    4. Writeprices and stock on Amazon

Only changed stock is sent. The hourly rhythm stays a business decision rather than a question of cost.

  2. Orders into the ERP — and back

Amazon orders should reach the ERP without manual work, and the shipment get back to Amazon.

    1. Triggera schedule
    2. Readorders from Amazon
    3. Hand overas a sales order to Xentral
    4. Reportshipment with tracking number to Amazon

No order is re-entered by hand, none is created twice — an order Xentral already knows is skipped.
