Shop system
Shopware 5
Shopware 5 is still in the market and relevant for migration projects. ConFlowIO addresses articles directly by their article number — including spaces, slashes or umlauts. Writing happens per record: slower, but a failure affects one article instead of a whole batch.
Orders come out as Commerce Bundle orders; order status, payment status and tracking number go back. Customers are read and written.
An order that already has the requested state is skipped — so the report-back can be repeated safely.

Building blocks
Seven building blocks for Shopware 5
- Write products, categories and master dataWrite
Writes articles by their article number, with no lookup, and takes product images along. Categories, manufacturers and tax rates are found by name.
- Read dataRead
Reads data from Shopware 5, only what changed since the last run if needed — as the source for a migration to Shopware 6, say.
- Read ordersRead
Reads orders as Commerce Bundle orders — with items, billing and shipping address and processing state, only the open ones and only those changed since the last run if needed.
- Report back on ordersWrite
Reports order status, payment status and tracking number back and cancels orders. Order states added by a shop plugin can be set when explicitly requested. An order that already has the state is skipped.
- Read customersRead
Reads customer accounts in the Commerce Bundle's customer model. Names, addresses and contact details are read only when that is explicitly switched on in the building block.
- Write customersWrite
Creates or changes customer accounts from the Commerce Bundle's customer model.
- Free API callFree request
Reaches everything the shop's API offers — just without the groundwork and the safeguards of a ready-made building block.
Product images are written straight out of the write block.
In practice
Two workflows with Shopware 5
Migration from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6
The old shop is the source, the new one the target — with no export in between.
- ReadShopware 5
- Preparemap onto the Commerce Bundle
- WriteShopware 6, in batches
The mapping against the Commerce Bundle stays after the migration; only the last building block changes.
Orders into the ERP
Orders from Shopware 5 should reach JTL-Wawi without manual work, and the tracking number get back to the shop.
- Readopen orders from Shopware 5 that changed since the last run
- Hand overas a sales order to JTL-Wawi, in the unified order model
- Read backthe sales orders shipped since the last run, with tracking number
- Reportorder status and tracking number to Shopware 5
No order is created twice — an order JTL-Wawi already knows by its number is skipped. Shopware 5 sends the customer no status email along the way.
